FIFTY PROOF by DOC PER out of CAROL MAC BERRY 1995 Roan Gelding
The photos of Fifty Proof (aka "Spirit") and me are from the NRHA European Championship last year.  In our winning run we were scoring a 217.5 even though we got a 1 point penalty on a circle. Our highest score ever was a 220, winning our second Lawson Bronze Trophy. We won 2 Lawson Trophies, one Morrison Trophy and two Pewter Trophies. My house is full of ribbons and awards I won with that great horse and even though he is already twelve he is only getting better. If I only ride him a  week before the show he is at his best. Just yesterday we came back from a horse show where we scored a 73. He is the best minded horse I know, always a 100 per cent honest in the show and he has never been sick. If I could clone him I'd get me at least ten horses like that. (Not only me, every reining horse trainer I know would order a couple of Fifty Proof's immediately!!!)

(July 2007) Fifty Proof did it again! Like last year we managed to qualify for the NRHA European Affiliate Championship in the Intermediate Non Pro and the Non Pro Division.

The best reining horses and riders from all over Europe came to compete. We ended up third in the Non Pro division.
But nobody managed to beat the eldest Horse in the Intermediate Non Pro Class: Doc Perīs twelve year old son Fifty Proof. We scored a 218.5 and had an awesome time in the showpen. Everybody always asks me why I smile all the time when I show my horse. The only thing I can tell them is:
"If you would ride him you would smile just the same way!"
Itīs a big honour for me to ride such a great horse and an even bigger honour to own him.
